My New Year

I am reaching out: 2010 I plan to take my Silpada business to the next level where I can afford to be home with my daughter in her last 1.5 years in HS, support our son with his college tuition, be there for family and friends who need me to help out...oh and take my loving husband on a few all expense paid vacations through my business all while working on my business in the way I want it to grow. Many of you have been to one of my parties, have seen my catalog, English or Spanish or have had a party with me and know that I have finally found my entrepreneurial passion again. Supporting women both in Spanish and in English, wearing gorgeous SS jewelry all while making GREAT financial differences in my life. This time, though, it is filled with many more rewarding milestones.

I'm looking for 2 types of referrals from you if you can help. 1st type of referral is someone you know who loves to socialize with friends and have fun playing dress up with sterling sliver and semi precious stones.

2nd type of referral is that special woman you know who is looking to do something else either to bring in extra income in addition to their current employment or something exclusively their main focus that puts a smile on her face every time she goes to "work"? This special person doesn't have to live near me; I can help them anywhere in the U.S., including Puerto Rico!!

As many of you know from our networking experiences, the highest compliment paid is a referral from someone I know. And I always like to show my appreciation with a referral in either free sterling silver or a donation to a charity of your choice.

Where will Amy and Silpada be?

Where have all my posts been? All in my head and then,  if you know me, coming out of my mouth. Since my last post so much has happened. I had a huge retirement party at my house for the jewels that are leaving the catalog. With that fun and money, I was able to put aside a great amount to use at the conference!! So my parties in August have been abundant with more than 27 new pieces for me!!

Jewelry for me and probably so many is like my vice.!!! Can't ever have enough of a good thing...and it is my happy place. Been to conference, had many parties, met so many new friends. Building my team of wonderfully talented, motivated and happy women combined with all the great people I am meeting along the way is what makes this so much fun.

I know I am more confident, satisfied and secure with the way my Silver adventure is taking me

If your read back a few posts prior, you will see that one of my  goals was to do this business in Spanish!!  And the time is here....please help me help you or your friends....I want to take my jewels to your house, office, deck...and chat in Spanish. Attitude of Gratitude

So back to The Secret...I woke early this morning with no newspaper outside. So I pulled out my copy of The Secret to find a section about having an Attitude with Gratitude.  In the section, Bob Proctor suggests beginning each sentence with "I am so happy and grateful now that...

So here is my sentence for the day...I am so happy and grateful now that I am really working my business everyday because I have been blessed with making so many new friends who are making my life rich and full of happiness.

I believe that I continue to thank you for reading this, for being in my life and for helping me towards making my dreams reality. For that, thank you. MY WHY

Why

In March of 2007, I was invited

to a  jewelry home party. I didn’t end up

going to that party but a good friend showed me the way to Silpada online,

and then I knew I had to have this all…the jewelry, the money and the ability to help other women succeed. Each sterling silver piece and semi precious stone piece I thought was more beautiful than the next and that was when I knew I had to become another Silpada Sister.

After more than 25 years in the customer service industry, 7 of those owning my own gift business, Amydoodles.com, I decided that growing my own sterling silver jewelry business was the route that would bring me to what really is my passion; helping other women find their own success.  I am learning through other Silpada sisters that it is so realistic to be able to put our son and daughter through college (ok, so maybe with some help from my extremely supportive husband) and to build that deck that I have wanted for so many years. Oh sure there are other list of things on my DREAM BOARD and they will come to fruition I’m sure. I have always felt empowered by helping other business people learn to grow their own businesses. Life is so much better for me now (again). I have created and am building something that is MINE; something that makes me SHINE, something that brings the best out of me all while supporting other wonderful women. I call Silpada my “happy place”. What is better than the feeling of satisfaction while increasing my and my team’s income exponentially.  Come join me or introduce me to someone who you know would benefit from this GIFT. The Secret is MY Secret

The Secret is becoming My Secret! I carry around The Secret and when I have a few moments, I read a few pages. It is always top of mind! And it seem to work for me on a daily basis. Today, walked into a Salon and the attractive woman behind the desk had beautiful earrings on as well as a nice necklace. "Nice S-jewels" I said. She loves S and was so sad because doesn't know anyone anymore who sells it. HA! I raised my hand and said I'm your gal. Not only does she want to have a party, she wants to sell it and be another happy S lady. Who would have thought that this could have happened....I do. It happens to me all the time now. I want to meet interesting, friendly and motivated women to party with and join my team wherever I go.

I believe if you want something, it will happen as long as you believe in yourself and you surround yourself with happy people. I am oh so happy:)

Today's a Jewel of a Day

Happy Saturday! I am almost done with my DREAM BOARD which I hope to post on this blog..it shows how I feel when I'm in the moment of my jewels..what I want to accomplish in the future, how I feel personally and how I feel when I am motivating other women to be successful and having fun with the silver, with the new friends and with the new motivation and money.  The Secret is spreading again and again and I am touching the lives of others which is always what has given me satisfaction. I have to say that this is also a way to show my daughter that women are productive and successful in what we choose when we set our minds to it.

Today I will be a group of women who speak Portuguese so I have asked a friend to help me with a few important words in Portuguese. Since I speak fluent Spanish, this should be a lot of fun for me and hopeful that I can communicate with the guests!

Tonight I join another party of women I have begun to know. All from one party, word of mouth and the excitement spreads. Women just want to have fun and celebrate their friendships. 

I continue to say that this business is a gift and I want to give this gift to you who are looking for something else, something additional to your other job, or just to do this full time on your own hours. I am looking to grow my team of fabulous women both here in MA and also in Puerto Rico. So put on your thinking caps and who do you know who speaks Spanish, loves Silver, loves to be out and about meeting other great women and who wants to bring in some extra dinero!!

I am finding that by making my decision to be consistent and excited about my business, things are falling into place. My DREAM board that I am making is showing where I want to be, what I want to be doing and how I want to feel. Seeing it everyday is so motivating. Have you thought of creating something for yourself for motivation? I am making calls, chatting with people I haven't spoken to in a while and not being afraid to pick up the phone and ask, do you want to socialize, show and treat yourself and your friends to a relaxed environment?

Last year I talked up what my goals are...and said that I wanted to combine my party/home show experience in all difference environments. My love to have parties in Spanish is a major goal of mine..not only locally, but also in Puerto Rico. I want to develop a strong team of women who do what I do but in the lovely, familiar Isla Bonita!! So I can travel back to the place I love so much and bring my business to the Island.

It was only last week that I heard that soon in 09, 2010, will my marketing materials and support also be in Espanol!! So PLEASE, put your heads together and think of who you know who speaks Spanish and wants to have a girl's night out. 

And I am starting to work my business so it includes chatting with and meeting women in Puerto Rico so when I plan my trip,  I will not only be going to do several parties but also to do some training for new Silver Sistas!!

So Sunday night I reached out to almost 20 people in 45 minutes...I got 8 messages and 9 live people. Four of the 9 said YES to getting together with their friends for a girls night out. I bring the jewels and they just hang out with their friends and relax. That's all that it is...sipping wine, laughing, trying on beautiful sterling silver and semi precious stone...some buy, some don't and that's ok! 

Visualize your dining room or better yet, the deck,  filled with your close friends, good neighbors and dear family "sistas". They are all laughing, smiling, sipping Margaritas and playing dressup with oodles of necklaces, rings, bracelets, earrings and belts.

Wouldn't you like to be able to have several choices of jewels to wear every day? It's easy to be done and I coach al the way so you can get a generous pile!

All my hostesses get some jewelry for free...that's just how I make it happen. Things are coming together for me the way I have envisioned it. I thank you for helping me get there. Even by reading this blog is a help. 

Well...I mean welcome to my blog. I am so happy to have a place where I can express what in the world is going on with me and now my sterling biz since I started 2 years ago. A lot I might say...I am learning that if you are NOT consistent, neither is your business. But when you decide that today is the day, well, it works. I have always loved jewelry, accessorizing and being somewhat out there...different, unique. Different in a good way. Love myself and then I am happy. That's what Grandma always told me. 

First there was Amydoodles. (www.amydoodles.com)  Loved being home with my two babies for 7 years. I was able to take them to classes, to school, be there when they came home all the while they were there with me and helping me with my business. They learned to put the stamps on the postcards, do the mailings and listen to Mom talk on the phone and while they learned to be quiet!

And now? Another entrepreneurial adventure is happening right before my eyes. It's been two years since I actually started but it hasn't been so consistent for several reasons. But the reasons don't really matter now, does it? The fact is, that I started this blog as a new beginning. I am so motivated to be using the business model that is working for thousands of successful, happy, financially happy, too, animated, excited and beautiful women. 

So join me and watch me grow, watch me do so many things that I always knew I could do but had a few obstacles. I'm pushing those away.
